Why don't they put the lid on the bottom of the Spaghetti-O's Can?

When we were kids it didn't take long to figure out that if you opened the can of Spaghetti-O's upside down they came out easier.  For those that didn't have that brilliant childhood revelation here's how it works.  When they sit on the shelf the pasta settles to the bottom and forces most of the sauce to the top.  If you open the can upright the sauce pours right out and the pasta sticks to the bottom.  If you open the can from the bottom then most of the pasta falls out easily and the sauce rinses out the rest of the pasta from the top of the can easily.

With the advent of aluminum cans and the new and improved pull tab lid they have thrown a wrench in the works...  If you set the can on the shelf upright the pull tab lid is in the top and there's no way to open it upside down.  If you put the can on the shelf upside down sometimes they don't sit right because the pull tab isn't tight to the lid.  And, of course, someone who never cares to neaten the pantry any other time inevitably decides to turn the cans over.

This is a dilemma of epic proportion.  I think it's time to ask the company to label the cans upside down and make sure the pull tab sits tight against the lid.
